Written for advanced undergraduate and graduate students taking bioinformatics courses, this book presents the theory and application of computational genomics. Topics covered include statistical sequence analysis, sequence alignment, hidden Markov models, and gene and motif finding.

The authors have developed a supplemental set of MATLAB M-files to reproduce the steps demonstrated throughout the book. (The Bioinformatics Toolbox and Statistics Toolbox  are required.)
