MathWorks is the worlwide leader in technical computing, system simulation and embedded code generation. We are seeking an engineer with technical experience and passion in embedded systems such as FPGA and SoC. The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist in the application of MATLAB, Simulink and HDL Coder to all aspects of the Model-Based Design process, and create advisory service visions of how best to incorporate MathWorks tool chain into customer's workflow. The location for this position is in MathWorks’ office in Tokyo.

Take on leadership roles in technically challenging project as an expert for our customers

  • Consulting lead development - Gather customer technical and business requirements and estimate project costs to create consulting service proposals.
  • Consulting project management and execution -
    • Apply MathWorks software tools to assist clients projects.
    • Interface MathWorks tools with third-party tools and software
    • Plan and manage resources to execute projects efficiently.
    • Travel as required.
  • Consulting sales - Interact with MathWorks sales staff and customers to identify, develop and close high-impact consulting opportunities.
  • Consulting strategy - Working closely with world wide consulting organization,  setting and evolving service support strategy in one or more industry/application areas.
  • Product development support - Work with product development staff to resolve product issues.

 

 

必須の資格

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.

その他の資格

  • Masters or PhD in engineering, or more of additional industry experience in a related filed.
  • Demonstrated design of one or more embedded hardware systems using HDL design methodology for applications.
  • Experience with related technologies incluging one or more of the following; Usage of ModelSim, Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus; performance trade-offs between resources, processing speed and power.
  • Advanced knowledge of MATLAB, Simulink.
  • Knowledge of one or more MathWorks coder products (Embedded Coder and HDL coder).
  • Knowledge of system design, software verification and validation techniques, requirements definition, and requirements tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional (consulting, sales, marketing, and development) team is essential.
  • Experience in customer-facing engineering roles.
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Strong Japanese communication skills needed
  • TOEIC score >700
